The person behind Filing Guardian
One founder, one product, one market. This page says who, why, and how to reach him.
The founder
Ken's background is cybersecurity. That discipline trains a specific set of habits: assume nothing, verify against the primary source, keep the least data you can, and write everything down. Filing Guardian is those habits pointed at a different problem.
A filing deadline is a security problem wearing a suit: the incident is known in advance, the controls are procedural, and the evidence log is the difference between an explanation and an excuse.
He is based in Kingston, Jamaica, and builds for companies listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
One founder is also a fact to weigh, so the record is built to leave with you: every reminder, escalation and filing exports as a PDF or board pack, and your deadlines as calendar files. Whatever happens to Filing Guardian, the record you built stays yours.
Why this product exists
The public record made the case. In April 2025, 42% of annual reports arrived late. The JSE has suspended trading eight times for late financial statements between 2024 and 2026. One of those companies warned the JSE three times that its audit was late, and was suspended anyway.
That last case is the whole argument. Knowing the date was never the problem. What was missing was escalation with names on it, and a record.
Built the way the background demands
- Every number is verified against the primary source. Read the method
- The engine reproduces the public suspension record before every deploy. See the reproduction
- The product holds deliberately little data. Security and data
