Privacy notice
We store what you type into the pilot form, count page views without identifying you, and nothing else.
Who we are
Filing Guardian is a product of Team Yaadie Limited, a company registered in Jamaica, operated by its founder Ken Jackson in Kingston. Team Yaadie Limited is the data controller for the personal data this notice describes. For anything in this notice, write to hello@filingguardian.com.
What we collect
The pilot form
Only what you type: your email address (the one required field), and if you choose to give them, your name, company and role. The product-updates checkbox is unchecked by default and always optional; if you tick it, we record that you did and when. We email you a single-use confirmation link that expires in 24 hours.
Page counts
We count page views in daily totals: which page, the source tag on the link that brought you, the referring site's hostname, and on the demo, which ticker was looked up. No cookies, no IP address, no user agent, nothing that identifies you. The demo's calculations run in your browser, and the dates you type there are not sent to us.
Your theme choice
Light or dark mode is kept only in your own browser's local storage. It is never sent to any server.
Links to other services
Booking a call runs on Calendly, and messaging us runs on WhatsApp; each is governed by its own privacy notice. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which is governed by Google's notice.
What we use it for
Running the pilot and replying to you. If, and only if, you ticked the consent box, we may also send occasional product updates by email, and you can leave that list at any time by replying or by writing to hello@filingguardian.com.
What we never do
We do not sell or share your personal data with anyone. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind on this site. We do not take card details; billing is by invoice.
Where it lives and how long
Pilot signups live in a private store on Netlify, the infrastructure this site runs on, and the emails we send you are delivered through Resend, an email delivery service. We keep pilot leads for the duration of the pilot and delete yours on request. The daily page counters hold nothing personal, so there is nothing in them to delete.
Your rights
Under the Jamaica Data Protection Act you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent to product updates at any time. Write to hello@filingguardian.com and a person will answer. If you believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.
